Registration

You can register for an account in two ways:

Option 1: Email Registration

1. Click the Register menu item in the navigation bar
2. Fill in the registration form:
   • Username
   • First name and last name
   • Email address
   • Password
   • Confirm password
3. Read and accept the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy (mandatory)
4. Click Register
5. Check your email for a email verification and account activation link
6. Click the verification link to activate your account

Option 2: Social Login (GitHub or Google)

1. Click the Sign In with Google or Sign In with GitHub button
2. Authorize CharacterSphere.ai to access your basic profile information
3. Accept the Terms & Conditions on first login
4. Check your email for a email verification and account activation link
5. Click the verification link to activate your account

Note: Social login accounts don’t have passwords set initially. See Account Deletion for important information about removing social login accounts.

Account Management

Email Login

1. Go to the login page
2. Enter your username or email
3. Enter your password
4. Click Log In

Social Login

1. Click Sign In with Google or Sign In with GitHub
2. Authorize the application (if not already authorized)
3. You’ll be logged in automatically

Resetting Your Password

If you forget your password:

1. Go to the login page
2. Click Password Reset under Login menu item
3. Enter your email address
4. Click Reset Password
5. Check your email for a password reset link
6. Click the link and enter a new password
7. Save your new password

Note: Social login accounts don’t have passwords by default. You’ll need to reset your password if you want to enable email login.

Viewing Your Public Profile

1. Log in to your account
2. Select My Profile from main navigation menu
3. Your profile includes:
   • Profile picture (optional, can be changed)
   • Cover photo (optional, can be changed)
   • About tab: Basic information
   • Characters tab: your Community characters

Deleting Your Account

For Email Accounts:

1. Go to My Profile / Account
2. Look for Delete Account option
3. Enter your password to confirm
4. Click Delete Account

For Social Login Accounts:

1. First, reset your password:
   • Click My Profile / Reset Password
   • Enter your email (the one associated with GitHub/Google)
   • Set a new password via email link received
2. Then follow the standard deletion process above

Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. You will lose access to modify your characters or continue your chats.

Your Profile

Your profile is your public presence on CharacterSphere.ai.

To access your profile:

1. Log in
2. Select My Profile in main navigation menu

Your Profile contents

• Basic information about you
• Your profile picture
• Your cover picture

Profile Tabs

Characters Tab

• Shows all your Community characters
• Other users can see these when they visit your profile
• Private Pending or Private Verified characters are NOT shown to others
• Click any character to view it

Note: Other users can browse your profile and discover your shared characters!

PREMIUM Tab

• Your account’s PREMIUM status

AURUM Tab

• Amount of AURUM in your account

Comments Tab

• Shows comments you have placed on other characters
